What you ll do:
As Workshop Supervisor you ll be responsible for the overall operations of the workshop, and overseeing, and supporting the Control Valve Technicians within the business.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Provide the business and our customers with advanced skills to inspect, test and repair our valves.
- Be the subject matter expert for the function, inspection, and repair of our valves.
- Support our customer's with troubleshooting and root cause analysis on valves, ensuring efficient and effective service provision.
- Provide our team and our customers with technical solutions to eliminate downtime of the our product.
- Ensure documentation is kept up to date and compliant.
- Flexibility to mobilise to site or offshore in support of contracts or escalations.
What you ll need:
- Apprenticeship in relevant discipline plus 5 years post qualification experience preferred or HNC/NVQ in a relevant discipline.
- Experience with repairing various valves, specifically Control / Relief / Isolation Valves and actuation, whether pneumatic, hydraulic is essential.
- Ability to problem solve service-related issues, and work towards tight deadlines.
- Previous people management experience is essential to support, and mentor our Control Valve Technicians effectively.
