Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a vibrant & well respected manufacturing company in the Blackpool area on a permanent basis. As the Management Accountant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Finance, Operations and Sales Teams on a day to day basis, providing a critical function. About the role Based in Blackpool, you will be responsible for: Preparation of month end management accounts to strict deadlines Develop and improve manufacturing accounting reporting, processes and procedures Liaison with Production on product costings and stock takes Balance sheet reconciliations including Inter Company Balances on a monthly basis Cash Flow management and forecastingAbout you The ideal candidate for this position must have: Ideally qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or have relevant experience within a similar role within manufacturing Strong Excel skills and experience of working with ERP software is preferable Experience with product costing & understanding of the manufacturing process is desirable, or equivalent experience Excellent communication skills & will be partnering with stakeholders across the businessAbout the company This specialist manufacturer has been established for decades, but since they have diversified and partnered with an international growth the have seen a huge amount of growth.
