Communications Officer
Join our team as a Communications Officer and play a pivotal role in amplifying the impact of the Policy Links Unit on a global stage.
We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual to increase the visibility of our work and drive engagement with key audiences worldwide. Working closely with the IfM Engage Communications Manager in our Cambridge-based office, you will contribute to a range of dynamic, high-profile projects that require strategic thinking, creativity, and effective communication:
- Lead communications for the 'Turning the World Risk Poll into Action' project (50%) - Be at the heart of an exciting initiative that leverages global insights to shape better digital, labour, and industrial policies. Collaborate with international partners to create and disseminate engaging content - from policy briefs to films and infographics - and ensure it reaches key policy practitioners in Southeast Asia.
- Drive thought leadership in industrial innovation policy (25%) - Craft compelling print, web, and social media content, highlighting our expertise and positioning the Unit at the forefront of global technological and industrial thought leadership.
- Provide tailored communications support for diverse projects (25%) - Work with a range of external stakeholders and partners across the UK and abroad to maximise every communication opportunity.
The role is full-time, however we are open to conversations around flexible working and operate an 'office first' hybrid working policy (at 60% of working time in the office). The salary for this role is £40,000 per annum plus a generous benefits package, including healthcare.
