Secondary Learning Assistant

A 'Good' Graded Secondary School in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is seeking a Secondary Learning Assistant to join their team ASAP on a Long-Term and Full-Time basis for at least the full academic year.

This Wandsworth Secondary School's main goal is to support all students and encourage academic excellence from Year 7 to 13. Pupils are high-achieving and want to surpass their own personal targets. As a Secondary Learning Assistant, you will be working with students in and out of the classroom to help them achieve this.

This Secondary Learning Assistant role involves helping Teachers to relay subject material to students across all core areas of the curriculum whilst supporting students across the school. You will also involve working with students with SEND/SEMH needs in groups and on a 1:1 basis.

• Secondary Learning Assistant
• Working with students across Year 7 to Year 13 in all core subjects including English and Maths
• Providing all pupils with the support they need, including those with SEND/SEMH needs
• 'Good' graded Secondary School in Hammersmith and Fulham
• Good transport links across the Borough
• Fantastic opportunities for CPD and future Teacher Training

ROLE DETAILS

• Based in Hammersmith and Fulham
• Monday - Friday, Term-Time only
• Long-Term and Full-Time role
• 8.30am - 4pm
• ASAP Start
• £105 - £110 per day

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• An outgoing and motivated graduate seeking to improve the learning experience of all students
• Previous experience working with children, including those with SEND/SEMH needs
• An individual with strong academics across the board including a 2:1 or 1st Class Degree, good A-Levels and GCSEs
