Dunbar Education is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of English to join a vibrant SEN school community in Buckinghamshire. This long-term position starts ASAP and comes with rolling extensions and the potential for a temp-to-perm contract for the right candidate.
About the Role:
As a Teacher of English, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students' understanding of the English language and literature. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering Engaging Lessons: Create and implement dynamic lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs, fostering critical thinking and creativity.
Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve and achieve their academic goals.
Supporting SEN Needs: Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with common challenges such as autism spectrum disorders, dyslexia, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Inspiring Creativity: Encourage students to express their thoughts and ideas through various forms of writing and discussion, preparing them for further education and life beyond school.
Collaborative Planning: Work closely with colleagues to develop a cohesive curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all learners and enhances their love for English.
