Corporate Lawyer

Corporate Lawyer. Entrepreneur-centric law firm. 12 month contract. 7+ PQE. Our client is an innovative law firm, based in London, dedicated to servicing entrepreneurial clients to include start-ups and SMEs. They pride themselves on their ‘people first’ approach and their recently obtained B-Corp status. The firm is currently looking to secure an experienced corporate lawyer with upwards of 7 years’ PQE, for a 12-month FTC, to cover a period of leave within the team. Whilst the contract is initially for a 12-month period, there is potential for further extension or permanency. The successful corporate lawyer can expect to advise clients on a range of UK and cross-border corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity related transactions, joint ventures, group reorganisations and general corporate advisory work. Clients will include entrepreneurs, start-ups, founders and management teams across a range of industries to include the likes of technology, hospitality, fitness and leisure, to name a few. In joining the firm, the successful corporate lawyer can expect to be welcomed into a collegiate team and have outstanding client exposure. Successful Corporate Lawyers are likely to demonstrate:Qualification as a Solicitor in England & WalesA strong corporate law background obtained from notable city or leading regional firmA wealth of corporate law experienceA desire to work with entrepreneurial clients, SMEs, start ups and scale upsThe ability to work autonomously with a keen eye for detailThe capacity to start a new opportunity immediately or at short notice.Embracing a hybrid working pattern, lawyers can expect to spend 3 days a week in the London office, with 2 days working from home. The firm has an incredibly reasonable billable hours target, with superb financial rewards for those who exceed it.
