Your varied role will include: Source and Select Suppliers: Research, evaluate, and select high-quality suppliers for materials, products, or services while ensuring competitive pricing and favourable terms. Negotiate Contracts: Use your negotiation skills to secure the best prices, discounts, and agreements that align with company goals and financial targets. Inventory Management: Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet production schedules. Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth transactions, resolve any issues, and identify future opportunities. Market Research: Stay up to date with market trends, emerging suppliers, and potential risks in the supply chain to make informed purchasing decisions. Cost Optimisation: Continually seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising on quality or service.What will you bring? Analytical Mindset: You are data-driven and comfortable with using metrics to guide decisions and improve performance. Negotiation Skills: You have a proven track record of successfully negotiating with vendors to get the best deals. Relationship Builder: You know how to cultivate strong partnerships and manage supplier relationships like a pro. Detail-Oriented: Accuracy– you leave no stone unturned when reviewing contracts, purchase orders, or product specifications. Problem Solver: When challenges arise, you are the go-to person to find solutions quickly and effectively. Communication Skills: You’re a natural communicator who can work seamlessly with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.Qualifications: Strong knowledge of sourcing, purchasing principles, and supplier management. Experience with Excel. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Exceptional analytic, negotiation, and communication skills.What's in it for you?
