Senior Sub Contractor

Job Title: Senior Sub Contractor Location: Chelmsford Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 Shift: 9 AM to 5 PM Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Sub Contractor to oversee subcontract formation and administration for various projects, ensuring compliance and managing subcontractor performance. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of subcontract formation and administration. Prepare RFQs/RFPs and assign contract flow-down provisions. Evaluate subcontractor proposals and conduct risk assessments. Develop negotiation strategies and award subcontracts. Maintain subcontract records and document small business plans. Monitor subcontractor performance and manage contract closeout. Collaborate with supply chain planners to align deliverables. Update policies and procedures as needed. Use ERP systems for data tracking and reporting. Progress high-value purchase orders through the approval process. Qualifications Knowledge of ECSS, FAR, DFARS, DCAA, and other regulations. Familiarity with DCAA audits; MCIPS qualification is a plus. Knowledge of Source to Pay (S2P) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
