Project Engineer

White Label is exclusively representing an engineering business in Sheffield that require a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer you will oversee managing projects from initial specification through to commissioning. Working with a team of highly motivated engineers, you will ensure design work and procurement stages are carried out to meet contract deadlines and then follow the contract through its life cycle onto customer handover of the completed project. Projects are based in the UK and overseas and as a result, you’d be expected to travel as part of the role. Overseas trips are usually twice a year and can be 2-4 weeks. UK trips are typically 5-6 per year and 2-3 days. Package on offer * A salary of £40,000 - £50,000 + car allowance * Pension – 7.5% Matched Contribution / 4x Life Cover * Private Healthcare * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * 37.5 hours/week – Monday to Friday Experience Required of the Project Engineer * You must have a minimum of 5 years of project engineering or management experience in a mechanical discipline. * Experience in hot-end operations/furnaces/glass would be highly advantageous. * Must be willing to travel and stay away in the UK and overseas (trips are infrequent).
