Sales Estimator

Estimator / Sales Estimator / Internal Sales Engineer required for a Global Engineering Manufacturer of high security engineering products for the Defence, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Construction and others within Engineering. Estimator / Sales Estimator / Internal Sales Engineer will be responsible for preparing quotations and acting as the first point of contact for customers as well as reading technical drawings to provide costs on components and orders. Estimator / Sales Estimator / Internal Sales Engineer will be based at the head office in Bolton and will have a background in sales or engineering. Package: £28,000 - £32,000 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension Monday to Friday Office Based Role: Responsible for preparing quotations for customers and being the first point of contact for all enquiries Read technical drawings and come up with costs for components and orders Maintain strong relationships with clients from the Defence, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Construction and other sectors within Engineering Speak to customers over the phone, in person and via email Provide technical advice and provide solutions Work towards targets and deadlines Support the aftersales team with enquiriesRequirements: Prior experience as an Estimator / Sales Estimator / Aftersales Estimator / Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer or similar An engineering background will be advantageous Able to read technical drawings Live within commutable distance to the head office in Bolton
