Pay Rate: £34,120.32Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)Shift patterns: Sunday - Thursday, Start time - 06:00 Location: Heywood - OL10 2TADHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will: Deliver large furniture and household items to customer homes as part of a two person crew Complete installations of wet goods (training provided) Manual Handling of large, heavy items Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? A valid HGV 7.5T Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card Effective communication / customer service skills Works well as part of a team Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial WHY CHOOSE US?
