Xstore Technical Lead / Solutions Architect

Job Title: Oracle Retail - Xstore Technical Lead / Solutions Architect Location: Remote with travel within Spain as needed Language Requirement: Fluent in Spanish & English Industry: Retail Consulting Firm Contract: 6 months initial with extensions About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Retail - Xstore Technical Lead / Solutions Architect to join a dynamic Retail Consulting Firm, working with a large, well-established international retailer. As the Technical Lead/Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and delivering solutions that meet the needs of the client’s complex retail environment. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Retail Xstore and involves collaborating closely with both technical and business teams to ensure the successful implementation and optimisation of the Xstore suite. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Retail Xstore solutions for the client, ensuring the highest standards of technical delivery. Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Provide leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, integration, and system performance. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Oracle Retail Xstore implementations, upgrades, and customisations. Perform technical assessments, system configuration, and integration design with third-party applications to ensure seamless operations. Conduct architecture reviews, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the client’s long-term strategy. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to ensure minimal disruption to business operations. Lead project planning and provide detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in meetings with client teams across Spain when needed, ensuring alignment and clarity in all technical aspects of the project. Qualifications and Skills: Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is essential. Proven experience in leading Oracle Retail Xstore implementations, with a deep understanding of the Xstore Point of Service (POS) platform. Strong knowledge of the Oracle Retail Suite and how it integrates with other retail technologies. Experience in solutions architecture , including design, implementation, and optimisation of retail systems. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a retail environment. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into clear technical requirements. Flexibility to travel within Spain when required for client meetings or project needs. Why Join Us?
