OCDEA/ SAP Assessor

Our client is a well-established leader in energy assessment, providing comprehensive solutions for both domestic and commercial buildings. Their services cover a range of energy assessment requirements, including Energy Performance Certificates, Thermal Modelling, and associated building tests such as air tightness, extract testing, and sound testing. The Opportunity Due to continued growth, we’re searching for an experienced OCDEA Energy Assessor to join our client’s expert team. This role is ideal for an OCDEA-qualified assessor looking to leverage their skills in a range of sustainability and Building Regulations assessments. The primary focus will be on SAP assessments, with additional responsibilities including thermal bridging, U-value calculations, and compliance assessments for Building Regulations such as Part O (overheating), Part G (water calculations), and Part C (condensation risk). Our client supports career growth and continuous learning, with training options available to expand your expertise to include advanced assessments like TM59 / TM52 through thermal modelling. Qualifications and Experience The ideal candidate will enjoy tackling challenges and working on varied projects in a team-focused, learning-driven environment. Key requirements for this role include: Current OCDEA qualification Strong understanding of energy, construction, sustainability, and Building Regulations Degree-level education, ideally in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, or a related field Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills Proficiency with relevant computer software Ability to work independently and collaboratively Full, clean driving licence Additional Details Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per year, depending on experience and skills
