I am exclusively working with a leading member-owned insurance organisation who are on an exciting path of growth and development. As part of this, they are looking to bring on a Lead Developer to work with their Digital Member Services team, who will contribute to a variety of exciting digital-based projects for members and customers.
As the Lead Developer, your day-to-day will be:
- Approximately 80% of your time will be spent on hands-on software development in a tech stack including C# .Net, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps
- You’ll work in a cross-functional Product team, working in an Agile way
- Around 20% of your time will be spent managing and mentoring 2 developers in the team
- The organisation are looking to create a ‘Development Practice’ to ensure consistent excellence in software development across the whole team- they’d love you to get involved in this!
Experience in the following would be beneficial for this Lead Developer role:
- Strong expertise in .Net framework, C#, and Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience mentoring or managing a small team
- Experience within an insurance organisation, or within marine/shipping/logistics, would be beneficial but is not essential.
