Production Team Leader

Production Team Leader £28,900, Knaresborough, 25 days holiday + bank, pension, ongoing training, excellent opportunity for progression Excellent opportunity to join a world-class manufacturing business as a Production Team Leader. You will be responsible for the hands-on management of a team of 10 ensuring day to day production targets are met and quality levels are maintained. The role would suit someone with previous supervisory experience ideally in a target-driven manufacturing environment. Managing production workers to ensure production targets Ensure work output meets the production schedule Follow up scrap and rework To ensure the right start of production including startup check sheets/procedure/first-off parts, To ensure the continuous accomplishment of standards Ensuring SOP's and giving instructions to correct any inadequate actions Effective handover to next shift. To analyse the previous day's production results with the supervisor Ensure correct application of work methods quality, safety, and environment To train any new starters/agency staff online. Assist in the implementation of improvementsThe Person: Previous experience in a team leader or line manager role Knowledge of SOP's and working to targets Ideally from a manufacturing or similar background Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques such as 5's and Kaizen Excellent communication skills Quality-focused and a good problem-solverBenefits: 25 days per year holiday + Bank Company pension scheme Death in Service of 4 x salary Training and progression Travail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
