A look into the role Henderson Wholesale is a leading Wholesaler in Northern Ireland and supplies goods to over 450 stores across various brands such as SPAR, EUROSPAR and VIVO. Working as Loader you will: Ensure all vehicles are loaded correctly and accurately, using the voice loading system, or the loading manifest provided. Ensure all returned goods are brought to the designated returns area. Resolve any damaged goods at the time of loading. Resolve any cages missed at the time of loading. Assume responsibility for accuracy, sequencing and security of cages and TETs on the vehicles and identify unsuitable cage builds, including issues with weight, food safety and poor wrapping. Identify and remedy labelling issues impacting the accuracy of sequenced loading, and delivery to customer. Check all trailers have sufficient load lock straps, stop plates, side plates are loaded correctly. Check that appropriate temperature of vehicle has been selected. Ensure that cages and dividers are offloaded and made available for the assembly team. Ensure the mesh area is free from empty cages and empty TETs and maintain housekeeping standards within the loading areas, including the bays. Skills for Success Joining us as Loader the minimum criteria youll need is: Previous experience within a warehouse environment. Previous roll cage experience. Previous experience of voice loading. The Attributes youll need include: The ability to work with others, demonstrating strong teamworking abilities. Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative. Attention to detail, working accurately within time deadlines. It is desirable if you have: Electric pallet truck license. Experience operating tail lifts and manual handling equipment. Basic understanding of health and safety, specifically relating to a warehouse environment. Are we right for you? This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. Working hours will usually be 12:00-21:30, except for Fridays which will be 12:00-00:30. Shifts will run on a 3-week rotational pattern.
