About the role: As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of students at varying levels of ability. You will work to inspire a love for mathematics, ensuring students are challenged and supported in reaching their full potential. Responsibilities of the Maths Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective math lessons to students. Support students in their learning, adapting teaching methods to suit different abilities. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them improve. Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment. Requirements of the Maths Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and experience teaching at the secondary school level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
