Mechanical Contracts Manager

Required: Mechanical Contract Manager (Building Services) Location: South Devon Salary: up to £60k Other benefits: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, 28 days holiday (including Bank Hols),Pension Scheme, Private Health Insurance & opportunities to earn bonus. Company working for: A privately owned M&E Contractor specialising in commercial and industrial projects (Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Retail and some Residential). Established for over 6 years, with 20+ staff that are encouraged to work as a team. The business are on target to turn over £5m in 2025 and are moving from small works to more larger major projects. The Role: Managing Mechanical (Building Services) projects across Devon (& some work in Somerset/Cornwall). The business is moving into more major construction projects so you be managing projects valued up to £1m in mechanical services, although the company do still have a core of clients that have small works projects (£10k - £250k) that come through as repeat business. You will ideally have a background in the Mechanical/building services industry and significant experience of project supervision or management roles. MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills are essential. Duties will include: * Liaison/meetings with clients, delivery teams, management and supply chain. * Health & Safety management with support from a HSE manager * Attending internal CVR/progress meetings * Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings. * Specification and ordering of materials. * Preparation of method statements and risk assessments. * Management and briefing of installation personnel/sub-contractors. * Resolving installation and access issues. * Completion and submission of as-installed documentation. * Programme and project planning How to apply: This could be a great position for an experience Mechanical Project Engineer, Manager or a Supervisor looking to make that move into Project Management.
