Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have a design background working on overhead lines or substation projects. You will lead multidisciplinary project teams in profitability delivering development and design projects. You will be responsible for the technical, contractual, financial and program performance of these projects. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate project team to deliver the scope of work on time and to budget Lead on H&S and CDM for projects Manage the contract and variations Plan and lead the site visit and survey strategies Prepare and manage the Project Programme(s) Develop new client relationships and opportunities Lead new project tenders. Including preparing tender documents and costs and programmes. Lead, mentor and develop assigned direct reports Internal business reporting on key project performance metrics Ensure all Quality, Environmental and Safety Documentation is prepared and issued in accordance with company procedures Undertake risk assessments and safety audits and sensible monitoring in line with relevant safety legislation, health and safety systems and procedures Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience The role is office based with travel for meetings, workshops and site visits required 2-3 days per week.
