About the role of Chef de Partie: We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Chef De Partie to join our hard working and professional kitchen team. Using fresh produce with a seasonal changing menu and an emphasis on local produce. The current menus are loaded with passion, imagination and a desire to be the best dining destination in the area. The food is imaginative, exciting, generous and all prepared on property using as much regional, seasonal & traceable produce as is possible. What we would like from you: Running a section with the possibility of assisting with food preparation of other sections. Assisting with stocktaking, management of kitchen hygiene, food storage and supervising. Reporting to the Head Chef. Working effectively within the Kitchen team to ensure high level of service standards. Excellent knowledge of food hygiene standards, checking that all food is stored and used in rotation to eliminate wastage and adhere to the Health and Hygiene Laws. Following close down procedure at the en.d of shift to ensure safety of equipment and security of produce is maintained Ideally NVQ Level 2/3 in Food production or other related culinary skills qualification. 1 years experience working within hospitality preferably a hotel or restaurant.
