Field Business Development Manager

Our client are a leading UK specialist in independent testing, validation, and verification of systems. With a strong reputation in the industry, they've recently expanded into waterproofing of roofing. They're now looking for a dynamic individual to help grow this new area of the business. As the new Field Business Development Manager, you will be the face of the waterproofing and roofing division. This is a newly created position, offering the right candidate the opportunity to shape the role and drive their expansion in this sector. Key Responsibilities: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across the UK Visit clients and potential clients to secure projects Engage with key decision-makers in the industry Attend industry events to network and represent our company Collaborate with our marketing team to follow up on leads Develop and implement business development strategies Work closely with our Projects Director and other support divisionsWhat We're Looking For: Proven track record in the UK waterproofing/roofing/construction industry Strong technical knowledge of waterproofing and roofing systems Excellent networking and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Strategic thinker with commercial acumen Full clean driving license (held for at least one year) and comfortable with frequent travelDesirable Qualifications: Roofing NVQ2 or Level 2 Diploma in Roofing Occupations CSSW certification NFRC qualification CSCS Blue Card Experience with Buckleys & Leister equipmentWhat You'll be get in return: Competitive salary range: £40,000 - £50,000 per year Performance-based bonus scheme Company vehicle and fuel card Generous benefits package including pension plan and private dental/medical insurance Flexible working arrangements with a focus on client visits and networking within the UK.
