We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Sous Chef to work alongside our award-winning Head Chef and join our pre-opening team at Sachi, one of Sunset Hospitality Groups first UK opening. The Role As Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in leading our kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven culinary professional to make a mark of one of Londons premier Japanese restaurants. Lead the kitchen team in executing menu items with precision and according to established recipes and quality standards Manage food and labour costs through portion control, waste minimisation, and effective inventory management Ensure adherence to kitchen protocols and procedures, fostering a disciplined and productive work environment Contribute to inventory management and assist in ordering supplies based on menu demands and kitchen needs Adapt to dynamic kitchen environments, handling fluctuations in guest volume, special events, and menu changes with agility About You Current experience as a Sous Chef or an experienced Junior Sous within a luxury, Michelin-starred, or destination restaurant Previous experience in Japanese cuisine Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence Experience in supervising, training, and developing team members to build a cohesive and high performing team Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who holds genuine passion for hospitality, wants to be a part of a global lifestyle brand and above all enjoys all things people. ****Candidates must have right to work in the UK**** Sunset Hospitality Group is an equal opportunity employer.
