Location: Based in BioCity, Motherwell, with time at Bellshill, Strathclyde Business Park.

Job Overview

Are you a Production Technician or Manufacturing Technician looking for a fantastic opportunity to move into a new role? To be considered for this role, you will ideally have proven experience working within a similar role within a manufacturing GMP environment. You will also be motivated, resilient and have a real interest in continuous personal development.


What will you be responsible for?


  • Ensuring that EnteroBiotix’s products are manufactured in accordance with the instructions and procedures provided, following Good Documentation Practices
  • Day-to-day operation of the manufacturing equipment in adherence with cGMP procedures
  • Carrying out tasks allocated by members of the production management in a timely and compliant manner
  • Lead and drive pertinent technical investigations and root cause analysis
  • Leading and driving CAPA completion ensuring department targets are met
  • Assist in the maintenance, servicing, qualification and commissioning of equipment and services
  • Ensuring all cleaning regimes are carried out and all production areas are maintained to a high standard
  • Partake in cross functional teams to develop processes and procedures
  • Adhere to high standards of Health & Safety and promote these standards within the team and throughout the company
  • Identify improvement opportunities with departmental processes and implement solutions to provide more efficient operation
  • Updating of SOPs, Technical reports, GMP risk assessments and H&S risk assessments
  • Lead and drive pertinent technical investigations and root cause analysis
  • Generate training packs for staff members and carry out training
  • Reporting of batch data to management team
  • Deputise in absence of management team
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior members of staff
  • Carry out daily inspections of the facility
  • Technical transfer of new process or equipment between Formulation department and Production.


What are we looking for?


  • Experience within a similar role
  • Be familiar with GMP and GQP requirements
  • Ability to work with minimal coaching to drive tasks to completion
  • Experience of reviewing, completion and defining SOP’s, batch records, change control and deviations knowledge of quality management
  • Experience of CI tools and methodologies would be an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail is essential
  • Able to work within a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload effectively
  • Must display personal accountability for results and integrity
  • Able to demonstrate problem solving, decision making and influencing skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Driving license advantageous.
