Due to several recent project wins we are looking for a Security Engineer/ Security Consultant to join a very well-established, award winning Building Services Engineering Consultancy in their Manchester office. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * The Security Engineer will support the wider design team in providing electrical/ electronics design at RIBA stages 2-4 with a particular focus on security systems including access control, CCTV and other physical security systems. * The Security Engineer will be assisting with design development on varied project work within the commercial, mission critical, government and life sciences sectors. SKILLS AND BACKGROUND * Qualified to MEng or BEng Degree level or equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics or building services engineering. * Relevant experience as a Security Engineer/ Consultant within a consultancy is essential with a focus on security systems design including access control, CCTV etc * The Security Engineer will be ideally working towards Chartered status through CIBSE or the IET however not essential. * The Security Engineer/ Security Consultant will have a stable work history and experience of working on a range of projects within the built environment.
