Working Foreman

Working Foreman / Manager West Yorkshire Regional Contractor £40k - £45k + Car / Allowance + Benefits MTR are working with a renowned regional contractor, known for being cash rich and delivering quality builds across various sectors throughout Yorkshire.

They are seeking to bring an experience Working Foreman onboard to oversee works on a new build and refurb projects across education and blue lights schemes in West Yorkshire.

General duties will include;

• Oversee all site activities, managing tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Act as the point of contact between site staff and the senior managers
• Conduct regular risk assessments and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment
• Inspect and monitor the quality of work being carried out, ensuring high standards
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Identify and rectify any defects or issues promptly

The idea candidate must;

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, etc.) or hands-on construction experience
