The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect with a background within the retail industry who is able to construct clear diagrams using AutoCAD. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution.
Responsibilities
- Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
- Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
- Oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
- Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets
- Setting project schedules
- Working closely and supporting the Head of Design in getting each new store over the line
- Manage the costing process considering materials and costs according to set budgets
- Researching and gathering information and photographs relating to the project including conducting measured site surveys cohesive for the team to draught.
- Project management of current properties
- Processing & liaison with their maintenance partner to ensure all maintenance standards are upheld across retail portfolio.
- Managing, sourcing products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration and dressing.
- Able to work with and interpret detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes.
- Supervising work at the pre-construction phase and on site.
- Project manager duties including working closely with quantity surveyors and designers.
- Standards check on the “finished product” once the project is complete.
- Complete full detailed snagging visits to site in final stages and completed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction and architecture
- Experience in shopfitting & retail design processes.
- Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- High proficiency in MS Office
- Understanding of Autocad
- Previous experience in the Project management sector (construction/fitout) sector
- Can understand detailed drawing pack
- Excellent attention to detail
- Degree in project management/Construction related field. Interior architecture with background in Project management will also be accepted.
- Full Driving licence, as the role requires site visits and attending Head Office in central London weekly.
