Project Professional
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Rate: £20 PAYE or £26.39 Umbrella
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
Working Arrangements:
- Hybrid: 2 days on-site per week (Wednesdays mandatory, other day flexible).
- Hours: 37 hours per week, early finish on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate PM&C processes on projects or support more senior staff on larger initiatives.
- Perform non-complex project reporting, scheduling, and resolve basic issues.
- Provide earned value management (EVM) analysis and monthly reporting using SAP tools.
- Support Work Package Management by managing cost charges, timesheets, and reviewing labour and material bookings.
- Participate in risk reviews, baseline plan updates, and performance measurement baseline change requests.
- Support In-Year Financial Management (IYFM) and quarterly Estimate At Completion (EAC) processes.
Candidate Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Project policies, processes, and tools with experience demonstrated in a professional project environment.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking in project-related contexts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support routine tasks.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with SAP, Excel, and project management tools is a plus.
- No prior PM qualifications are required, but the successful candidate is expected to work towards a PM qualification, such as APM Fundamentals.
