We have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant within our Early Years class. The working hours for this role are 8.45 - 15.10 Monday and Friday. The successful applicant must have good communication skills and behaviour management skills and work well as part of a flexible team. They will be responsible for supporting children with additional needs. They must be enthusiastic, organised, patient and compassionate. We are looking for a candidate with experience of working within the Early Years sector. Being a Learning Support Assistant in our school can include: Working individually with students who require additional support Assessing, monitoring and giving feedback to students, offering encouragement and motivation to succeed Supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom as well as accompanying them on educational visits Being in class supporting the students to make academic progress Helping to facilitate inclusion and enable them to integrate with their peers Attending meetings with parents, other professionals and a lead member of staff Being actively involved in the sharing of good practice to ensure the student can access the full curriculum The closing date for applications is Thursday 17 th October with interviews being held at the following week.
