Quantity Surveyor

Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience in refurbishment and fit-out looking for a fresh challenge? Fawkes And Reece have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well established and award winning maintenance company based in Doncaster. This role will be based at my clients Doncaster office in but will require regional travel to visit our current projects, meet with clients and attend meetings. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working on major contracts across bespoke and high end hospitality (bars & restaurants) , commercial and regeneration sectors. Duties of a Quantity Surveyor: To be involved in negotiation of prices and obtaining quotes for works, materials and plant as required in compliance with company procedure To quality check invoice details from all suppliers, ensuring the company gets value for money on all jobs carried out. To build strong relationships with our customers to ensure open communication and expectations of invoicing is met at all times. To prepare and submit regular and accurate cost/value reports. To manage the commercial aspects of subcontracts in compliance with commercial procedures. Includes obtaining quotations, evaluating tender returns, valuing subcontract works and payments and agreeing subcontract final accounts. Requirements of a Quantity Surveyor: Relevant Degree or Qualifications Experience of managing multiple projects. Proven experience of developing client relationships. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and project management skills.
