Financial reporting and treasury advisor (relevant experience required)

Hello Fresh is looking for an ambitious self-starter to support the Head of Financial Control on a wide variety of key areas covering Treasury, Reporting (Month End and Year-End), Audit and Budgeting. This individual will be a major contributor to our Finance team and will be based in our London office “The Fresh Farm” on a hybrid-basis and will have demonstrable experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, business partnering and internal-control related responsibilities. This is a brilliant opportunity for a 0-2 years qualified accountant with proven experience to join a fast-paced and dynamic organisation with a values-led culture. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to prioritise who genuinely enjoys analyzing data, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner, partnering with other departments and will be a reliable number two to the Head of Financial Control with potential for career progression. What you will be doing: Reporting: own month-end and quarterly reporting packs for submission to Global. Analysis: provide insights & variance analysis versus budget Cashflow Forecasting: presenting an accurate forward-looking view of our cash inflows and outflows including consideration of cash requirements and Group loan requests (with multi-currency exposure). O2 C: end-to-end ownership of the O2 CRevenue accounting process (led by Global) including postings, balance sheet reconciliations, commentary and detailed review. Payroll accounting lead including full accounting ownership, designing accounting for new benefits or payroll changes and balance sheet reconciliations Month End: in addition to payroll and O2 C, includes G&A cost centre management and IFRS 16 along with undertaking relevant ad hoc or intercompany postings and assisting with balance sheet reviews. Budget process: lead on the Headcount and G&A budget processes including business-partnering across all relevant functions (People, Strategy, Legal etc.) VAT Return: monthly submission of return including balance sheet reconciliation Audits: Ensure audit preparedness and compliance. Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility. Year-End: lead on the preparation of the annual financial statements and annual corporate tax return submission (including capital allowances and R&D claims) Communicating on a regular basis and exchange ideas and best practices with our global team Be a leader in the finance team working across the team Who you are: A qualified accountant with 1-2 years relevant experience Someone who pays attention to detail and has a strong sense of ownership.
