Golang Engineer
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Equity
Location: Hybrid working - Bristol office 2/3 times a week

We are currently partnered with a leading FinTech business who are building a brand new B2C platform from the ground up, striving to give users more transparency, ownership and control. It puts the end user at the centre of platform and leverages an event-driven, microservice environment in Golang to achieve it.
They are currently seeking a Golang Engineer to join a brand new team to be part of this greenfield project. The core tech stack includes Golang, GCP, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Typescript and Docker. Given the maturity of the project, additional experience working across the full software development lifecyle is a must, whilst actively contributing towards architectural discussions and decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure Golang microservices.
- Understand stakeholder requirements and translate this into deliverable technical objectives.
- Leverage automated testing, CI/CD and other process improvements that can be made.
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to define and implement new features.
- Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of the platform.
- The willingness to roll your sleeves up and contribute where necessary.
