Tool Maker

Tool Maker - Domestic tool room.

Location: Walsall, West Midlands.
Full-time, Permanent Position.
Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift only.
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 DOE.

I am pleased to be recruiting for my client based in Walsall, West midlands for a tool maker or bench hand in their domestic tool room, supplying into the automotive sector.

As a Tool Maker/Bench Hand, you will be responsible for repairing tools used in power press processes. Looking for individuals to join the in-house domestic tool room and work with and experienced, small, friendly team.

Main Duties:

• Maintain and carry out TPM of press tools.
• Repair and refurbish progression tooling.

Experience:

• Standard Conventional machining within a tool room setting.
• Experience with progression and combination press tools
• Mechanical knowledge to understand tooling requirements
• Ability to machine parts and assemble tool components
• Proficiency with Siemens Controls CNC

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with Siemens control CNC.
• Knowledge of CNC Lathe and Milling.
• Understanding of Wire EDM machining.
• Apprentice trained or holding relevant qualifications.
