Quality Engineer

Your new company
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a niche manufacturer based near Diss, supporting quality processes and procedures across the UK manufacturing sites.
Your new role
Working closely with key stakeholders, you will ensure that the business, engineering and manufacturing quality processes are in place, you will monitor and analyse product performance ensuring adequate inspection processes are in place and the business is compliant with industry standards.
You will lead and champion root cause analysis and implement corrective actions, utilising 5 Whys and Fishbone, drive continuous improvement initiatives utilising Kaizan and Lean Six Sigma. You will conduct product risk assessments (PFMEA) and ensure calibration and inspection processes are in place for all tools and equipment. You will implement process improvement initiatives, conduct supplier audits and manage supplier quality performance.

What you'll need to succeed
With a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial engineering, you will have gained experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive, Aerospace or Defence sector). You will have proven experience in lean manufacturing processes (Six Sigma), for quality auditing, you will be familiar with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, APQP and PPAP.
