Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Machinist / Machine Operator to join our dynamic steel workshop team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating machines, lathes, milling machines, and other tools used in steel fabricating. You will be responsible for the precise cutting, shaping, and production of steel parts, ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain machines, manual lathes, and milling machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform precision machining tasks to fabricate steel components as per specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular machine inspections and perform routine maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and workshop cleanliness.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and project goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a machinist or machine operator in a steel workshop or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in operating machines, lathes, milling machines, and other metalworking tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery and tools.
  • Good understanding of safety regulations and workshop practices.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
