Manufacturing Controller (Nights)

MANUFACTURING CONTROLLER NIGHTS - INSIDE IR35 - £23.91 RISING TO £25.26 PER HOUR (NIGHT SHIT UPLIFT of 133%)- BOLTON - 12 MONTHS (EXTENDABLE) - ONSITE - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW ONSITE MERITUS are recruiting for a Manufacturing controller to join our client in Bolton on an initial 12 month contract to work on exciting defence programmes. This is a night shift pattern 9pm-6:30am, 4-5 days a week across Mon-Thurs/Fri. You will be involved in issue, receipt and management of stores and inventory Responsibilities Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control. Loading the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs in accordance with planned lead and cycle times, in order to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules. Packing including the use of hand tools. Receiving and issuing of tooling. Updating computer records. Kitting activity. Loading and unloading of Lorries. Skillset/experience required: Experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control. Willing to work flexible shift patterns. Attention to detail. Manual handling training. Lifting & Slinging training (Including overhead cranes). ESD training. SAP Desirable PC skills, including EXCEL. Fork lift truck licence. Knowledge of Kanban and 2 bin systems
