About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting schools by ensuring smooth and effective teaching in the absence of regular teachers. You’ll supervise students, maintain a positive learning atmosphere, and keep classes on track by following the provided lesson plans. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with diverse age groups and subjects, while gaining valuable experience in education. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task. * Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. * Implement and follow pre-set lesson plans, offering assistance to students where needed. * Promote good behaviour and manage any disruptions in the classroom. Requirements: To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor, you should: * Have experience working with children, ideally within a school environment. * Possess strong communication and organizational skills. * Have a positive, proactive approach to your work. * Be willing to obtain or already have an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service. * Salary: Dependent on experience, training, and qualifications.
