We are an exciting start up and the UK’s fastest growing franchisor of Halal virtual brands. We partner with Halal food operators to use their kitchen capacity to increase their sales and profitability by selling our brands on delivery platforms within their area.
To support our rapid expansion, we are looking for a Development Chef to join our team. Reporting directly to our Co-founder and Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing the menus for our existing and upcoming brands. You will need to be able to work closely with our Co-founder and take direction when needed.
We need somebody with their finger on the pulse of the food scene and a breadth of knowledge of cuisines. You will be innovative, resourceful and a self-starter.
This role will be based at our Uxbridge office.
What will you do?
· Work with the Dish’d team to create new on trend, delivery focused menus
· Develop new products for existing category menus
· Developing new concepts that are Instagram worthy
· Source product from new and existing suppliers
· Create new sauces that can be put into production for our estate
· Manage the food cost of any new or existing menus
· Work with the wider team on menu engineering
· Support existing sites with training on any new menus
Experience & Skills required:
· At least 3+ years of experience in a development chef or similar role
· Brand and menu development experience
· Knowledge and experience of working with a wide range of cuisines
· Knowledge of food trends
· Budget management
· Ability to work to tight deadlines
· Strong attention to detail
