Job Title: Group Head Pastry Chef - Urgent Role Location: London Overview: We are seeking an exceptionally talented Group Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry teams across two iconic restaurant brands. This role involves overseeing all pastry operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, creativity, and consistency are maintained. The ideal candidate will have extensive pastry experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering an exceptional culinary experience. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the pastry teams across multiple locations, ensuring excellence in production and presentation. - Develop and implement seasonal menu changes in collaboration with Executive Chefs. - Train and mentor pastry staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and creativity. - Ensure all recipes and menu items are executed to the highest standards. - Maintain exceptional food quality and adherence to company standards. - Manage inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste. - Uphold rigorous standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within the pastry sections. - Respond promptly to guest feedback, ensuring satisfaction and building positive relationships. - Implement cost control measures and maintain budgetary oversight. - Lead by example in a fast-paced environment, supporting team members and collaborating with other departments. Minimum Qualifications: - At least 5 years of professional pastry experience in high-end establishments. - Proven leadership experience in a similar role, managing multiple teams and locations - HIGH VOLUME experience is a must! - Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - High level of creativity and innovation in pastry design and presentation. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work long and flexible hours, including standing for extended periods. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a positive and adaptable attitude.
