Commissioning Manager

Our client is one of the leading infrastructure companies in the UK and they have ben working on a large contract in the Oxfordshire and Wiltshire area within the Water industry.We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer for an excellent long term contract to be part of the Project Team and will assist in the effective and efficient commissioning management of the mechanical, electrical, and public health services.Responsibilities include:Review tender documentation in terms of design / commission ability and prepare all necessary submission documentation in relation to commissioning / handover on tendersAssist in carrying out comprehensive commissioning review at design stage – review mechanical and electrical specifications / drawings / schematics / equipment selections / technical submittals and highlight any potential installation / commissioning issuesAssist in preparing commissioning procedures plans and strategiesLiaise with each Project Team, Building Services Manager / Engineer, Client, Consultant and Services SubcontractorsReview sub-contractor commissioning method statements and comment as necessaryAssist & Preparing weekly progress reports / monthly status reports, highlighting any potential issuesVisit sites prior to planned commissioning to ensure that installation and the building itself are ready for commissioningAssist in Organising and facilitate Client / Consultant witnessing of successful commissioning including sign off.Assisting & liaise with relevant Statutory Authorities to ensure compliance / sign off.Collate all mechanical and electrical commissioning documentation for O&M manualsAssisting & Organising and facilitate Client systems demonstrations including sign off.Attend / report / rectify any commissioning / snagging issues post practical completion throughout the defect’s liability period.Requirements:Knowledge of Commissioning EngineeringGood computer skillsTravel will be necessaryProfessional qualification is desirable.White / Black CSCS Card & SMSTS qualification.
