Hobson Prior is collaborating with a global company who are seeking a Senior Safety Manager for a role based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of products throughout their lifecycle, from innovation to market. This includes managing the safety activities during product development, conducting final safety assessments, and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) for safety.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee safety activities during product development and innovation.
- Conduct final safety assessments to ensure products are safe for the market.
- Maintain a robust and relevant ongoing Safety QMS.
- Develop scientific expertise in safety fields and technologies to improve products and protect the business.
- Use safety expertise to give the business a competitive edge.
- Represent the company on expert committees.
- Train technical and commercial teams on basic safety knowledge to ensure awareness of the importance of safety for customer protection.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Higher qualification in Pharmacy, Toxicology, Medicine, or Dermatology.
- Experience in safety assessment in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector or the chemistry industry.
- Experience with cosmetics is a plus.
- Strong cross-functional business partnering skills.
