Our client, a leading world-class aerospace material supplier, specializing in supplying a comprehensive range of chemicals and materials tailored for the Aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector, are looking to recruit a Graduate Trainee to be based at their offices local to Watford / Greater London area. On Offer: * An opportunity to join a leading Aerospace materials supplier with great potential for future growth * An attractive salary up to £25,000 * Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm * 12 Months, fixed term contract * 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Quarterly Social events and Christmas party * Friday casual wear * Fre onsite parking Main Purpose of the Role: Reporting to Human Resources, as a Graduate Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training and development to become an integral part of the team. Throughout the program, you will gain hands-on experience in various departments, developing a deep understanding of our products, services, and operations. This graduate scheme is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the aerospace chemical distribution industry. Your primary role will be to assist department heads with either day to day activities or project work. Duties and Responsibilities: * Supply Chain Management: Understand the logistics involved in sourcing, handling, and distributing aerospace chemicals efficiently and safely. * Business Development: Identify potential growth opportunities and methodologies; contribute ideas and be a part of various ongoing project work within departments. * Sales and Customer Service: Collaborate with our sales team to learn about customer interactions, handling inquiries, and providing exceptional service to clients. * Regulatory Compliance: Familiarize yourself with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements to ensure compliance in all aspects of chemical distribution. * Reporting and Analysis: Compile data and generate reports related to operational activities, sales, inventory, and customer trends to support strategic decision-making. * Health and Safety: Embrace a safety-first mindset and adhere to all company health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. * Team Collaboration: Work closely with different teams including operations, logistics, procurement, sales and marketing to understand the synergies that drive our business forward. To Be Considered: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Maths, Supply Chain, IT or related field. * Strong academic record and a passion for the aerospace industry and chemical distribution. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. * Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions. * Adaptable and eager to learn new skills and processes. * Computer literacy, which also involves adequate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook * Demonstration of a high level of flexibility to meet business requirements. * An initiative and proactive approach to the completion of daily duties.
