Role Overview:

As Technical Services Manager, you will oversee the mechanical and electrical aspects of various Office Fit-Out projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. You will collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution from planning through to completion. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all mechanical services activities on refurbishment projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems and electrical installation
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant mechanical regulations, codes, and standards
  • Conduct site inspections and quality assessments specific to mechanical and electrical installations to uphold craftsmanship standards
  • Liaise with mechanical and electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues promptly
  • Provide expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the project life cycle
  • Monitor the installation and performance of mechanical and electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement to optimise efficiency and sustainability
  • Uphold a strong commitment to safety protocols, particularly in relation to mechanical and electrical work, ensuring a safe working environment for all


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in technical services management within the Fit-Out sector
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical & electrical building systems
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, particularly in mechanical disciplines
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and mechanical analysis
