DevSecOps Engineer

Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer (AWS)

Rate: £550 Outside IR35

Location: Remote (United Kingdom)

Fruition are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join a market leading SaaS business as they roll out a new platform. You will be responsible for building a DevSecOps culture within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage security protocols within AWS environments.
• Work closely with development teams to embed security practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Utilize AWS services to optimise system performance and scalability.
• Set up and oversee alerting and monitoring tools to identify and address issues proactively.
• Apply information security controls in software engineering processes.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services - RDS, S3 and EC2
• Experience in AWS GuardDuty, AWS Security HUB, AWS WAF and AWS Inspector
• AWS FIS and Chaos Toolkit - desirable
• Hands-on experience with alerting and monitoring tools.
• Awareness of GDPR, IS027001, CIS
• Proficiency in Terraform as IaC
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and best practices.
