Rose Calendars have an exciting new opening for an enthusiastic and committed Business Development Executive to join our sales team, based in Colchester.
We are a family business with 115 years of history and are the UK s leading supplier of promotional calendars. We are dedicated to producing promotional products of the highest quality in a range of formats, suitable for any business to use for their marketing.
As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for increasing a portfolio of customers who come to us for our award winning products.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:
- Managing and retaining existing accounts and engaging in regular communication.
- Developing prospect opportunities
- Growing revenue by introducing new products
- Learning about our products and advising on what is most appropriate to meet customer s needs.
- Researching potential customers.
- Willingness to take on board and learn new skills/develop product knowledge.
- Manage and develop client relationships.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Excellent telephone manner and a willingness to help customers by building and maintaining long standing relationships.
- An enthusiasm and drive to meet and exceed agreed targets.
- Experience with Microsoft packages.
- Experience within SME and B2B Sales and Account Management is essential to this role
