Contracts Manager Location: Chigwell Salary: 45 – 55k Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (8am-5pm, Monday to Friday) Job Purpose The Contracts Manager will oversee the efficient daily management of contracts from inception to final account settlement. The role ensures that contracts adhere to safety regulations, work policies, and electrical standards while delivering high levels of customer service to clients and residents. Key Responsibilities As a Contracts Manager, you will be accountable for the overall effectiveness of the contracts, ensuring all KPIs and goals are achieved. Your main duties will include: - Managing day-to-day reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) service delivery. - Leading, supporting, and developing your team to maintain professional standards and timely project delivery. - Building strong collaborative relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service. - Overseeing accurate pricing, quotations, reviewing works, and invoicing. - Ensuring all KPIs are met and delivered in line with client expectations. - Procuring necessary materials for the contract. - Proactively ensuring compliance with legal and best practice standards. - Supervising and training less experienced supervisors and engineers, conducting 1-2-1s, and setting objectives for annual appraisals. - Staying updated on new laws, regulations, and contract trends that may impact business goals. - Acting as the primary communication point for resolving contract issues. - Monitoring and reporting expenditure to the line manager regularly. - Reviewing contract management methods, systems, and procedures for improvement opportunities. - Engaging actively with clients throughout the specification and delivery of works. - Gathering regular feedback from clients regarding engineer activities and work delivery. - Communicating the company's commitment to excellent service delivery to customers. - Raising accurate invoices weekly for each contract. - Managing and promoting the company's Health and Safety and Environmental policies, and reporting any breaches to senior management. - Assisting senior management with any reasonable request to aid service delivery. Salary and Benefits - Competitive salary based on experience (PAYE). - 23 days of annual leave, with an additional day for each full year of service up to a maximum of 25 days. You have the option to sell back 3 days per year or carry them over to the next year.
