HGV1 / Class 1 Driver

Excellent opportunity for a Class 1 Driver in Avonmouth, Bristol. Are you an experienced Class 1 driver, interested in Tanker work? We are looking to upskill drivers to drive Tankers. This is not an ADR role. Permanent work with an immediate start, weekly pay, easy online application. Register today and start work tomorrow! You will be given full training, usually for 2 weeks. This will enable you to fully understand the role before you are sent out on your own as a Tanker driver. You will be driving a Class 1 Tanker to deliver pressurised building products to sites across the southwest. A typical shift would start at 5am and last 10 hours, completing 1 to 3 drops, working Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturday. This is a great opportunity for permanent HGV1 work with a reputable company, with the potential to upskill and gain Tanker experience. Hours and pay * Working Monday to Friday starting at 5am and usually working 10 hours a day. * Optional overtime on Saturdays paid at an enhanced rate. * £16.50 per hour paid weekly every Friday. * £20 per hour on Saturday. Requirements * Previous Class 1 / HGV1 driving experience. * Tanker experience is desired but not essential. * Full UK driving licence, with category C+E. * Valid Tacho and CPC. * A good knowledge of WTD and Tacho rules. * Safety boots and high viz. * An understanding of health and safety.
