CNC Surface Grinder Salary: Up to £31k per annum, Location: Keighley, Shifts: Must be flexible for Shifts Metalis are working with a specialist engineering company who design and manufacture machinery and production equipment for a range of industries. Our client is now looking to add a Surface Grinder who can support the Machine Shop. The Role: Operating a large Coburg manual surface grinder with Siemens controls Grinding large complex components, using flat bed grinding and surface grinding. Setting- components, grinding wheels, jigs, fixtures, rotary chuck. Working and measuring to very tight tolerances. Ability to use metrology equipment. Interpretation of engineering drawings, Manufacturing components to achieve critical geometrical tolerancing and ensuring product conformity The Requirements: Apprentice Trained Applying knowledge of materials and machining methods. Work with minimal supervision and plan workload effectively to achieve targets and KPIs.
