Your Responsibilities: Project Delivery: Take charge of managing ecological projects from planning through to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior ecologists, sharing your expertise and fostering their development. Ecological Surveys: Conduct detailed field surveys, assessments, and habitat evaluations with precision and accuracy. Technical Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, including Ecological Impact Assessments and Biodiversity Net Gain analyses. Client Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert ecological insight throughout their projects. Business Development Support: Contribute to winning new projects by supporting proposal writing and business growth initiatives. What You'll Bring: Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years in ecology or a related field. Education: A relevant degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or similar. Leadership Ability: Proven experience in project management and team collaboration. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain, and habitat management. Professional Membership: Ideally, you are a member of a recognised body (e.g., CIEEM) or willing to apply. Additional Skills: Experience in UKHab surveys or protected species work is an advantage.
