E & M Talent Partners are delighted to be working with of the UKs leading designers and manufacturers of commercial and architectural lighting. Founded 35 years ago as a family run organisation, this company has grown from strength to strength with an ever expanding customer base across Europe, Americas and the Middle East. Due to growth, they are looking to appoint a Purchasing Administrator to their busy head office in Leeds. Duties will include but are not limited to: - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors - Support the negotiation of contracts, pricing and terms with value for money at the forefront of every decision - Place and monitor purchase orders - Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials - inline with project timelines and needs. - Work closely with the production manager to monitor stock levels, forecast need and minimise waste - Review and streamline procurement processes - Conduct cost analysis to identify cost saving opportunities - Research and source new products, materials and tech Whilst a purchasing background is extremely desirable, you must have a strong attention to detail, disciplined, organised and reliable. Due to the nature of the role, communication skills must be particularly strong as you will be conversing with directors, suppliers, and clients on a daily basis.
