Accounts Assistant

Job description ​Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a widely known construction business in the Rotherham area, of which are seeking an Accounts Assistant throughout a 3-month fixed-term contract. Due to their continuous success and constant growth, there is the opportunity to gain a permanent contract for the right individual. This small and welcoming function are seeking a finance professional to assist the team due to their increased workload. As a result of their fantastic success over recent years, they are hoping to expand the team as soon as possible! Key Duties: * Processing invoices via 3-way matching. * Completing supplier and bank reconciliations. * Supporting with sub-contractor CIS invoicing. * Handling accounts payable and receivable tasks. * Supporting the team with any ad-hoc finance-related tasks. * Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve queries. The Ideal Candidate: * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * Experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential). ​ Sharp Consultancy is a finance and accountancy recruitment specialist assisting accounting and finance divisions of businesses in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire area.
